Finished The Learners by Chip Kidd this week. It’s the continuation of the story from Kidd’s previous novel, The Cheese Monkeys. I ready the Cheese Monkeys, which is a novel about guy, Happy, who’s going through college to learn graphic design, while I was a student going through college to learn graphic design. This follow up novel, is about Happy’s first graphic design job, and where am I working now? You guessed it! My first graphic design job. These happy coincidences, along with wonderful storytelling, and witty inturuptions with segments about content, makes this book and the Cheese Monkeys among my favorite books of all time.
